The Sun is also known as Pelor, or the Dawnbringer, and is considered the deity of life, light, warmth and fire. The Sun is an ungendered deity, and can be referred to as man, woman or neither. It is often depicted as a humanoid form made entirely by blinding light, and thus, artists have been spared the need to add any distinguishing features.

According to belief, creation happened when the Sun kissed the Earth, awakening both at once. Thus, the Sun is considered one of the two first deities. The Sun is described as a loving and attentive deity, but also a volatile and merciless one. The Sun started and brought magic into the world, and it helped the Earth create life, but it was judgmental, and would ruthlessly incinerate anything that fell short of its expectations. The Sun also strives to survey the entire world, but cannot be in all places at once: for this reason it awakened the Moons. To many, the Sun is the most powerful of the gods, whose presence is always known, even in darkness. Common folk can pray to it for good fortune and harvests, while nobles often attribute it for their position and wealth. The Sun are seen by some as Judgement. Plenty of groups have used the Will of the Sun as justification to claim power and impose hierarchies.
