Session 04-Yellow Ribbons and Monsters
Summary
You took a short rest, read some tales and chatted with the human woman "Jenny", who you learned is a character from a book who in her words “woke up” inside her story and learned how to escape from it and enjoys hanging out in the real world instead. You promised to help guide her to the information desk on your way back, she will wait for you in the cemetery. You entered the cave nearby, guided toward the bookworm infestation, and found yourselves with a choice of sneaking past a monster in the water or sneaking through the Written Realms - the realm of stories that Horror can walk between. According to him, the rockslide obstacle will not exist in the other realm so you can walk past it there. You also found an old tortle monk teacher reading in an alcove who was a very ponderous sort of individual, and you persuaded him to help you bypass the rocks as well but he is very slow. Due to some very slippery hands from the rogue, a giant clatter brought monsters rushing toward your location, and tentacles searching around the pool. Gouda and Rollie decided to enter the Written Realms, and the fight continues in the Real World…
