Session 17-Banishment and Mockery
Summary
You finished the fight with no (complete) casualties against the guards who were very conflicted in the chaos of many different orders, intimidation, and fear. Thashallot landed a significant blow to Inspector Thaw, then banished him from the plane, incurring the disappointment of Sir Yis. Gouda cast create water over Lythwin again and (with the disguise confusing the matter) tried to convince the librarian to take it easy on you all. Thistle set off fairy fire and managed to somewhat convince Sir Yis to be more forgiving. Rollie got lost in Magical Reference, spoke to an incorporeal being taking notes on a scroll, found a random book and unleashed a giant, who was successfully persuaded against helping Lythwin. Young Adult unfortunately took an arrow to the face during Look to the Books, but Rollie was able to hug and carry her (invisible) and stay out of the fray. Rydellioth went into the YA section, still surrounded by calming nature sounds from his book. Lythwin was left in tears after constant humiliation by water, a very unintentional distraction from her book, Vicious Mockery and a giant using Hold Person. You all have left the Rotunda, ready for the next section in the Library.
